This series was conceived out of my desire to both create a vision of a “spiral dance” on fabric and to incorporate crochet in my wall hangings. Spinning off of the “Miriam the Prophetess” wall hanging, which also repeated this spiral pattern, I decided to create a series to honor women and their wisdom.
